Instead of building bespoke processing hardware or waiting to downlink raw data, clients securely upload containerized software applications directly to our shared constellation to process space data natively at the source.
Traditional satellites capture terabytes of raw sensor data but must wait hours for a line-of-sight window with a terrestrial ground station to download it. Our space data centers process that raw multi-modal data instantly, compressing massive datasets into lightweight, actionable insights that can be transmitted to Earth immediately.
We abstract away the complexities of orbital mechanics and satellite mechanics through our cloud-native Aether software environment. Developers can package their proprietary neural networks and workloads inside standard containers and push them to orbit via a seamless OTA update solution, treating our constellation exactly like a standard terrestrial cloud region.
Our Altus constellation architecture is built using our extensive heritage in designing and manufacturing space compute. Cutting-edge, radiation-hardened components coupled with proprietary thermal-management systems designed to withstand the harsh environment of space. Furthermore, every workload is rigorously validated on our hardware-in-the-loop emulation testbeds before deployment to guarantee absolute hardware compatibility.
