06 — Company
The future of space belongs to those who believe in space compute.
Aethero Space Incorporated was founded in 2021 to change the status quo in spacecraft computing. We design and manufacture in the United States, with headquarters and sales in San Francisco and engineering in Ann Arbor.

Mission
Make space data instant.
Compute has transformed every industry it has touched — except the one that generates data furthest from where it is needed. Aethero exists to close that gap: to put data-center-class processing on every spacecraft, from the smallest CubeSat to space stations, and to make it as easy to use as a cloud region.
We get there by refusing the false choice between performance and resilience. Commercial silicon from NVIDIA, Intel and AMD, hardened by system design and verified test-as-you-fly, delivers orders of magnitude more compute per watt and per dollar than legacy rad-hard processors — and we have the flight heritage to prove it.

How we work
Vertically integrated, manufacturer agnostic.
We design the boards, the enclosures, the operating systems and the cloud. We simulate before we build, and we test as we fly — results have matched. And we build to standards — CubeSat/PC-104, VPX/VNX, CSP, Kubernetes — so Aethero compute works on any platform, with any bus manufacturer.

Headquarters
San Francisco, California.
Design, bring-up and flight integration happen under one roof in SoMa: an in-house clean room for flight-unit assembly, hardware-in-the-loop benches for every module, and the office where the software and Altus teams sit a glass wall away from the hardware they ship.

In the field
Where the work happens.
Beamlines, vacuum chambers, integration halls and launch sites — a small team that ships hardware to orbit on a cadence.
